The current product

Between is a free prediction platform using nonredeemable virtual points. It is being developed by three founders in Québec who have not incorporated. Points cannot be purchased, withdrawn, redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, goods or prizes, or transferred between accounts through Between.

Read the exact market before predicting

Check the question, YES/NO outcomes, resolution criteria, evidence source where shown, closing time, security tier and proposed-result deadline. Your authenticated Kick account and available points balance are required to participate. The server enforces the market’s retained limits, deadlines, permissions and conflict rules; a delayed screen or stream does not extend a deadline.

A prediction deducts points from your balance and contributes to the pool. Settlement distributes the pool to the winning side in proportion to its points, using whole-point rounding. A cancelled market refunds its recorded stakes; if the winning side has no stake, the recorded stakes are refunded. The displayed percentages reflect the pool’s distribution, not an independent forecast or guaranteed chance of winning.

Streamer and moderator influence

A streamer can influence an event on their own stream, select an ambiguous question or benefit from an audience’s expectations. Channel operators and moderators may have private information, relationships or incentives that affect a decision. Collusion, false evidence, delayed broadcasts and compromised accounts remain possible.

STANDARD markets use channel-controlled resolution. VERIFIED markets require an accepted eligible trusted resolver. HIGH_STAKES markets require two distinct accepted eligible resolvers and matching votes; disagreement requires admin review. These names describe application controls, not regulator approval or a guarantee of independence, fairness or accuracy.

Owners and active channel moderators cannot wager on their channel. Administrators cannot wager, and recorded market authorities cannot wager on their market. These controls reduce some conflicts; they cannot prove that an off-platform relationship or manipulation does not exist.

Disputing a proposed result

When the interface offers a dispute control, an eligible bettor in that exact market can submit one dispute before the displayed deadline, choosing a reason and adding an explanation. Market authorities cannot submit bettor disputes. Dispute weight follows the recorded points exposure, not a count of votes. Reaching the market’s retained threshold escalates an unresolved proposal for admin arbitration; a below-threshold dispute remains recorded and does not by itself change the result.

An eligible independent administrator can review an unresolved disputed market, uphold or reverse a proposal, select an outcome when there was no proposal, or cancel with point refunds, subject to the existing security checks. Final results cannot be reopened through the current dispute control. No particular decision, recovery or response time is promised.

Other risks

Network delays, stream interruptions, unclear evidence, software defects and security incidents can delay a result or cause cancellation. You can lose virtual points. Decline a prediction if you do not understand its question, evidence or control structure. Never treat Between as an investment or a way to earn money.

Reporting concerns beyond a dispute

The designated public support address is [email protected]. Use it for suspected rigging, streamer or moderator misconduct, fraud, collusion, ambiguous decisions and problems outside the in-app dispute workflow. Include the market ID or URL, relevant timestamps and evidence. Do not send passwords, session cookies, OAuth tokens or unnecessary identity documents.

A misconduct report may be sent after a dispute timer expires. Email does not file an in-app dispute, suspend a deadline, change an outcome or automatically trigger a refund. The current controls do not reopen finalized markets; a report does not guarantee reopening, correction or recovery.
